With over 200,000 women diagnosed with breast cancer each year, The Lady Trojans Soccer team at Derry Area High School in Derry, PA knew that they wanted to help in the fight against breast cancer.
The Lady Trojans hosted a Pink Out Soccer Game and sold t-shirts to raise money for breast cancer research. As a team, they sold shirts to their family, friends and the Derry Area High School community. The Derry Area high school and community rallied together for their Pink Out Night and Senior game on October 6th.
Together the girls raised $180.00 from their Pink Out game and t-shirt sale. All of the proceeds went to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Way to go ladies! :) If you want to keep up with the latest from the Lady Trojans Soccer Team you can visit their website or connect with them on Facebook.
