Katerina Fluharty, a student attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania and preschool teacher, will travel to Ghana, Africa to build shelters and schools for children in Ghana. She will be volunteering in orphanages with the organization Projects Abroad. Katie wants to help the children of Ghana because she believes that where you live in the world should not determine how important you are as a human being and that all kids should have a safe place to live and go to school.
